Ever arrive at a location and immediately realize Google maps was not as accurate as it lead you to believe? The directions were invalid...the road was closed...detours were poorly marked nor prepared for...or the destination was simply incorrect.
Ever feel like your life is like a GPS with a dying battery? You keep turning circles to the left trying to get somewhere...only to arrive at exactly the same spot you started...only your gas tank is empty and your bladder is rather full.
So many times in the last six months I've felt like I was running in circles...getting nowhere.
Or at least it felt like nowhere...
Perhaps the greater journey was not the physical steps I took, but the pilgrimage of my spirit...the healing of my heart as I arrived at a place of self-assurance and contentment...regardless of existential circumstances.
I have spent too many hours contemplating my next maneuver. Second-guessing myself...
But today is a new day and I have a new path to travel....no longer will I fear failure...no longer will I feel obscure and rejected...
